How To Use Wallpapers

First, browse the wallpapers and choose a wallpaper you’d like to download. On the details page you’ll see a drop-down box listing the possible screen sizes (see example below). Your screen size will be automatically selected, so unless you want a different size you can just click the Download link to load the full size wallpaper.

Wait a moment for the full size wallpaper to finish loading. Then, if you’re using Firefox, right-click on the image and choose Set as Desktop Background. For Internet Explorer, choose Set as Background.

The image will then be set as your wallpaper!

Saving a Wallpaper

If you want to save the wallpaper so you always have it at the ready, right click the image (as shown above) and click Save Image As… (or Save Picture As…). Then save it to the folder you want e.g. My Pictures.

Tip: To make a wallpaper show up in the Display Properties dialog (Control Panel > Display), save it to C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper

Using a Saved Wallpaper

To use the saved wallpaper at a later time, go to the folder where you have saved it e.g. My Pictures. Click on the wallpaper you want to use to select it, and then click Set as desktop background under Picture Tasks on the left (or in the right-click menu of the wallpaper you’ve selected).
