I see someone rated a 65 which is very low for customize... Anyway: I think its a good skin imo (looks & feeling to work with, no hidden buttons and such irritating things. I see it even has some nice animated cursors)., not perfect though. :)

Don't forget that Winamp is a program, and not a wallpaper. This is pretty and detailed, but it is like the 1,500th skin of its kind here, and it's not particularly usable. I'd like it more if this were usable, but it doesn't seem like people who make pretty skins make them functional. The buttons, naturally, are very hard to see and/or find, and the main window numbers are hard to read.

I wish I could make graphics like that.
Looks a little like the stuff from the breedart guys. Some gradients in the displays are a little too strong for my taste. The EQ bars could need some more work, the buttons are cool, but the lower part of the sliders looks out of place. The playlist buttons are hard to read, and it is surely no skin for winamp newbies.
Anyways I think it's a great start, although I give you the same rating as any 'pro' who would have submitted this skin would have gotten.

Meh, everything is clearly labeled, the issue isn't usability, it's 'this doesn't match much stuff'. There's a big difference. Anyway, Niks, I commend you for the way you absolutely WENT AFTER this skin. This was gutsy for a first effort - I sure as hell didn't have a robot in my first skin.. You're taking cues from all the right people. But to be totally honest, your graphics just aren't quite 'there' yet. The metal looks good, but the LCDs and buttons are a little filter-ish. If you can polish your skills a bit, I think we'll be seeing you in a breedpack in no time. :)
