Artist's Note
Firstly I have planned to do WinAmp3 Skin, but few WinAmp skinners has adviced me to go with basic skin so that I can get some idea about what the skinning is, so I thought to do a basic skin first. Ofcorse skinning is not simple as I thought, after fighting for few days I got this WinAmp Skin. This skin design which I have made reflects to my current web design of our site www.mavenarts.com. I have concentrated mainly to get a complete different and dynamic look compared to others. But please dont see the skin in MINI WINAMP and WinAmp Browser because I have not concentrated on those views. This is my experiment on how the skinning to be done, ofcorse I have got an idea to make skins. And sure I will come up with WinAmp3 Skin :). Any Comments and Feedbacks are welcome.

This is by far the craziest winamp skin i've ever seen. There are too many non conforming elements if that makes sense to anyone. It looks like a skin crazy glued together with 15 other skins.

really cool but i'd never use it. the main drawback would be color, it looks hard to theme around (or go with an existing theme) b/c it has some red, blue, yellow, green & diarrhea. good job if this is your first time skinning WA2

sorry bud, nice try but it would never match a wallpaper of mine, and well, it needs a lot, i repeat, a lot more work.

i think its perfect how this is, the only problem that other people are finding is the background color of the playlist, it stands out too much, so tone that down a bit or use an entirelt different color, this is very good.

it's funny, the administrators consistently rate wallpapers lower than I would and winamp skins much higher than I would. Just thought I would point out that observation.

In a weird way... this is doin' it for me. If anything, I would say the techie elements like the metal texture in the header are holding you back, I like the very organic and natural elements here. There are some bugs to note, for instance your microamp bars jump around, your position bar hops out of place when a song starts... nothing big. I like it. Work with it more.

There is no way I could see this skin going with anything. That is, it would clash with a plain black background. Mostly because it clashes badly with itself. On the plus side, it's not technically bad.

well, you put some effort into it, and ended up with good art... problem is, I have no idea what would match it to make a functional desktop setup, sorry
