I'm not sure why everyone is being so hard on your skin, it's not great, but we've all seen MUCH worse. I personally like the fact that someone isn't doing 3D on a skin, so lay off everyone!

Ok, it does remind me of another skin, but that one was no way as well done as this one... so lets break it down: points for not being rusted metal, points for not being an eyecandy overload which i'd end up hating after a week, points for not being too busy, points for a soft color choice. Points lost because it reminds me of another one....

Does anyone still use 2 tone monitors, if so there may be a market for this. A lot of people spend considerable time creating a single skin and it still doesn't always look as good as they hoped. This skin could be made in an hour or two and is not worthy of sharing the same webspace. Why did you bother using Photoshop and PSP, when you could have done this with MS Paint. Why have you even bothered getting such appz, if this is what you're gonna do with them. I don't know why I've even given you 5%, this has to be one the most boring, uninspired skins ever shown on this site or others. It has also severely diminished my opinion of the people at Customize, who feel this is worthy of 86.81. Based on what?

Wow, I really must have shit in my eye too. Origional, solid. . . I think it is just a love hate thing. I like flat. Ever see the sketch skin? Same sort of thing. Does it remind anybody else of Tron, or is that just me?

I agree completely with robo; the skin definitely has a great deal of originality in it, and the overall theme is IMHO quite interesting... although the skin has a lot of room for improvement, I think it's off to a solid start. I look forward to seeing a revised version -- hopefully by then most people will have gotten over the latest 3-D craze.

Pretty neat. Clear and easy to read, but get rid of the skin name - it's impossible to read, and the font is utterly ugly.

well Seth, i don't feel as strongly as you do on this skin but you're fellings are in the right place. this skin is almost as dull as they get. a good color with a booring set. how about adding some depth to this thing. that'll at least make it something to look at. some other colors, or some shading might also help. i disagree with robot, but he makes a good point that some eyecandy could really ruin this skin. you don't have to jazz it all up, just add some depth to it.

oh, not green or dark blue, not 3d, doesn't look like sonicated, not "original", and by original i mean "in style, you know, how all the creative people arte doing it nowadays". that's why i like it. it is way original, way good design, and way maligned for not being eye-candy/power-tooled up. this is a sweet skin, it makes me want to do one like this myself. very nice. my only suggestion would be to maybe add a 1 or 2 pixel bevel around the whole outside, and make the lines not totally solid, like fade in and out or something. it needs just a little extra to give it more visual intrest. and don't listen to the "it's not 3d, rust-like, or dark, so it's unoriginal and lame" comments, keep skinning.

I think I saw a design similar to this one before!!! Not that this is fraud, but it reminds me of one design!!!! Well I'm honest at least, and I give you a 25 for the effort!!!

i can absolutely see why this was rated the way it was. its very interesting- with the electrified lines running throughout, the titles being almost tribal-looking, excellent buttons with a cool lifting effect on all of the darkened parts (which is actually used throughout the entire skin, along with other things such as appropriately-placed gradients, inverted buttonpresses, etc., creating a "theme," something many skins seem to lack), and an excellent overall "feel." it shows creativity and is very solid and well-made (couldnt find a single glitch in it). the only thing i'd change is all those true black outlines in the playlist. in short - i like it alot.

Generaly I use to like this kinda skins, but this... looks so shitty!!! Change the colors, try something more agressive, or... high-tech!!! dunno!!!

I don't mind things being flat; just things being crap...like this...don't worry, its a high-rating crap (ie it doesn't fall into the 'shit' or 'i want to rip out my eyes, burn my computer, and shoot innocent pigeons' categories but its not great, is it? i mean, look at the thing!

It's useable, and it has a certain something about it... sort of somewhere between ASCII art and architectural drawings, or something. I kinda like it, and it doesn't look like every other skin that's out there :)
