I had previously mentioned making Tiny Player resizable, and had been requested to add playlist and equalizer controls, so I am delivering.
This is my first real attempt at skinning (Tiny Player 1.1 was a 15-minute fix to the original Tiny Player).
This one includes a resizable window (only horizontally if the video screen is not viewable).
The video screen portion of the window also serves as the visualizer, and includes playlist and equalizer controls. (I don't really have a use for these controls, so their design is not well-thought out in my opinion).
Also, there are multiple views. The "tiny" logo shows and hides the time seek bar. The up and down arrows on the left side of the skin are used to hide portions of the skin if you're not using them. After all, the point of this skin is to take up as little space as possible with controls.
And finally, the graphics were updated to match the WMP9 colors (although not really an improvement in my opinion. The border of the skin is in black and white so the outline will appear on light and dark backgrounds.
Thats about it. Please let me know if you have problems with it and I'll try to fix them.
This is the best skin that I have come across so far. I wish I could completely ditch the whole wmp, but if you want to watch some webcasts, it is necessary. I love this skin - lets me just have the video window showing on top of my other windows, so that my music tv webcast takes only as much space as it needs. Now only if I could force wmp10 to remember the position where it was closed. And also the size.
A decent skin... though the volume control is kinda broken visually. I like the idea of being "infinitely" resizable and usable at all sizes, but why not take the idea further and make use of the extra space when it becomes really wide?
Well done. Very good as a frame-less vid player over screen capture e-learning stuff. All it needs now is Kbd control of 'play/pause', 'start', 'next' etc. Let me know.

I've got a few bug fixes (volume control is still there if you go to the frameless window, visualization keeps turning itself off), plus keyboard controls have been requested. I'll also see if there is anything I can do with the extra space when it gets even wider. Expect something near the end of this week (June 25th or so)
Not a skin aficionado personally, but I appreciate being able to put the WMP into the smallest possible space on my screen whilst still taking in info at a glance. Tiny does that: compact, informative, interactive (the resize feature is excellent), it covers the vast majority of what I need. One recommendation: make it possible to place the visualisation window below the bar - this would make it possible to store the bar alone in the top corner of the screen. Also, I'd echo comments about it remembering where it should live. But, good work.
I have customized this Tiny Player quite a lot. Added support for Alt+1 (50%), Alt+2 (100%) and Alt+3 (200%). The player automatically detects the source resolution and adopts itself to that resolution. It starts with no border, but you can adjust that. Furthermore, if you hit F5 while a movie is playing the controls are minimized. I also added a fullscreen button. v3.0 is online at www.monitor.nl/TinyPlayer3.wmz Wishlist: does anybody know how to toggle alwaysontop on/off from within a WMP skin?
My only request - be able to drag it to the top of my screen, with the visualization turned off. Now, there's a limit as to how far up on the screen it can go. Ty! :-)
I love this skin to death, but wmp doesn't stay skinned! I select the skin and as soon as I restart wmp, it's no longer there. Doesn't happen with other skins. Sup wit dat? :)
