Artist's Note
Well ... here it is. I honestly have no idea why I'm releasing this.
This is the Visual Style used in a handful of my recent WIP shots over at GSM. It's completely unchanged from its appearances there. It's completely open-source; modify it, port it, butcher it until it doesn't even resemble itself, then release it. I don't really care.
It's also somewhat unfinished. I'll be the first to admit that I went completely half-assed on the start menu and assorted odds and ends. It probably looks best with Litestep or another alternate shell -- anything you can do so only the windows are shown. Because the windows are done. Everything else? Not so much.
Anyway, that's the deal here. Have fun with it.
Licensing: the artist has specified that ports and mods are allowed.

Awesomeness. I'm glad you released it, and I want to go on the record in saying this inspired me to do Broken -- mainly the 3px border though.

I appreciate it a lot from an aesthetic viewpoint, but closing a normal window with this VS is a pain in the ass since you either have to right click the program from the taskbar or then go through the file menu in the program window...
Or am I just retarded and forgetting some simpler way of closing windows using this vs?

When I modified a VS to be titlebarless in my shot "Minimalized" there were buttons you just couldn't see them. And had to get used to where they were in order to click min, max, and close.

Fantastic VS.
However, like Pyro_ said, I wish the buttons to close/max/mini were still there but just invisible.

Apparently you can't edit your posts.. so I'd like to ask, what font it is you are using in the screenshot posted here?

Great Visual Style. I've been using it for a few months now. I love the simplicity. Thank you.

For the blank icons, did you reshack shell32?

qslig: You have to teach yourself you click on the black borders. They're only 3px wide, so it does take practice ... but they are draggable.
